Over the next few days, I'm diving into the piles of half-finished projects- the ones that got started with excitement but were set aside for one reason or another. Maybe I was missing the perfect hardware, or I got inspired by something else and moved on.  Sound familiar?

I know I'm not alone in this.  That thrill of getting new fabric or leather, sketching out a design, cutting the pieces-it's all part of the creative process. But not every idea makes it to the finish line. Some things just need to be let go to make space for what's next.  

Honestly, this is how most of my prototypes begin.  They get started, stopped, picked back up, reworked, tweaked, and tested-sometimes a dozen times-before they become the patterns I trust and use to make my bags.  It's a messy and sometimes expensive process, but it's how the magic happens.  

So let's see what I can find.  I'll be posting new photos and videos along the way. And while I'm sorting through the old, I'm also working on some new(and old) leather to create fresk designs. Who knows what will come from it? That's part of the fun.

As for July, I'm shifting my focus to waxed canvas with leather accents.  I'll be adding a few new waxed bags to the ones I've already made-some fresh styles that will carry us into fall.  Practical pieces with a purpose.

So let's see where this all leads.
